Torquay Eyecare is located within the Torquay Medical Hub on Cylinders Drive and we liaise closely with the doctors and allied health professionals in the hub.
Gina Gaballa
Originally from Egypt, Gina began her medical career in Cairo, where she earned her Bachelor degree in Medicine and Surgery in 2005, followed by a specialisation in Ophthalmology in 2014. Committed to excellence in eye care, she furthered her education at Deakin University, completing her Master of Optometry in 2019. As a dedicated eye care professional, Gina combines her specialised medical background with advanced optometry to deliver exceptional patient care. Gina is diligent and passionate about making a positive difference in her patients' lives through enhanced vision and eye health management with confidence and precision.
Sophie McHenry
Sophie graduated from Deakin University in 2020 and began her career in Central Queensland, gaining experience in both independent and corporate optometry. She most recently worked as a Clinical Optometrist with an ophthalmologist in Rockhampton. Now based in Geelong, Sophie is passionate about providing thorough eye care, with particular interests in children's vision and ocular foreign body removal.Meet Our Optical Dispenser
Naomi Duff
Practice ManagerNaomi brings a wealth of experience and enthusiasm to her role as Optical Dispencer and Practice Manager. Recently returning to her hometown of Winchelsea, she is passionate about providing exceptional service and helping patients find the perfect eyewear to suit their style and vision needs. Naomi has a keen eye for colour—especially green and yellow—and enjoys creating a warm, welcoming environment for every visitor.
