Gina Gaballa
Optometrist
Gina is an experienced optometrist with a distinctive background in medicine and ophthalmology. Originally from Egypt, she began her medical career in Cairo, completing her Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery in 2005, followed by postgraduate training and qualifications in ophthalmology in 2014.
Committed to excellence in eye care, Gina continued her professional journey in Australia, completing her Master of Optometry at Deakin University in 2019.
Gina combines her medical and ophthalmology background with her Australian optometry qualification to provide comprehensive, personalised eye care with confidence and precision.
Gina’s clinical interests include eye disease management, eye injuries and foreign body removal, management of vision problems, children’s eye care, and soft contact lens fitting.
Gina is passionate about making a positive difference in her patients' lives through enhanced vision, preventative eye care and effective eye health management.
A Passion for Art
Outside the consulting room, Gina enjoys painting and has a passion for creativity, colour and visual art. Some of her original artwork is displayed throughout Torquay Eyecare, adding a personal and creative touch to the practice.
